this picture is dedicated to noahs wife... noah and the ark are common painting subjects, but the woman is often ignored (it is said in an apocryphal legend that her name is haikal)... i painted her together with female wood animals... the ark itself represents the fruitful earth, the tree and the roots... enjoy...
